StormlordSTORY / GAMEPLAY
You are a Viking-like warrior who travels through a dark world aiming to set a bunch of beautiful fairies free! Those nice girls are kept prisoners in different platforms of the game, by an evil, female entity named Badh and you must find them before it's too late! But this won't be easy since numerous enemies swarm each and every area, including Venus Fly Traps, acid rain showers, short volcanoes spitting fire balls and even dragons that can be either avoided or shot in the bonus shoot 'em up sections. You can eliminate enemies by using your only weapon that fires projectiles and you can fast travel across the world using a particularly powerful trampoline-style platform that sends you sky high! However, sometimes those travels must be carefully planned since the trampoline can transfer you in places with no return and if you don't set all previous area's fairies free, it will be impossible to win. Stormlord has a particular time limit to finish and its difficulty level is extremely hard, affecting the whole experience in a very negative way as it renders the game almost impossible to complete!

GRAPHICS / SOUND
The Commodore version features great graphics with a nice selection of colors. In comparison, the C64 version plays a bit smoother to the Amstrad CPC and ZX Spectrum counterparts. As for the sound, the C64 features a superb intro soundtrack as well as a very cool in-game tune composed by Charles Deenen and Johannes Bjerregaard. Unfortunately, there are no sound effects on this version!
